I loved this suspenseful legal thriller

At 18 years old Stella Sandell is on trial for the murder of a wealthy business man 15 years older than her. This legal thriller is told in three parts each told in the perspective of a member of this “nearly normal” family. The author did a great job of telling each part in their unique voices. I felt this really gave us well detailed characters that helped explain their reasons for doing what they did throughout the novel. The book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It was very well thought out. Even down to the order of the characters narration, who’s part came first and who’s came last. I did not see the ending coming and I think that makes for a great suspenseful read.
