A pastor father, a lawyer mother and an angsty teenage daughter- who has just been arrested for murder. Almost the perfect family.
I really enjoyed this book! It’s told through all three family member’s points of view, progressing the story forward. I've read other books translated from Swedish and I sometimes had a hard time following names and places, but that was not the case in this book. I thought the translation was pretty smooth and the plot carried well. I wasn’t in high suspense and there were definitely slower points, especially during the father’s section. It read more like a John Grisham novel than psychological thrillers, which I think I was expecting. Even so, I thought it was great and would definitely recommend!!
