I have struggled to finish this book for some reason. I’m unsure if I am the issue in this equation or not but I feel that the beginning of this book drags on for ages. The parents in this book who are the main characters we follow at the start at least are boring and the feel more like plot devices less like actual people in the way that you want characters to feel while you read. It’s hard for me to care as to whether or not the daughter is the murderer because I don’t care for her or either of her two parents. I will be giving this book another try and when I do I will update my review but I have tried twice to read the beginning and I’m struggling to continue each time. We shall see how this goes.
