This was a great courtroom drama! I enjoyed the plot and easily followed the story line. I always enjoy when the book has multiple point of views and time lines and this book has both! I never was confused when reading even though there were multiple point of views and different timelines. For the most part, everything flowed nicely, but some points of the book I found the writing a little bit choppy. I appreciated how character driven the story was, but I never found any of the characters too relatable or easy to connect with. I wasn't hooked from the very beginning, but after a few chapters I could not wait to see what happened next. This book is more of a slow burn and I loved the suspense. I was shocked when I got to the end! The ending was intelligent and unpredictable. If you are looking for a slow burn, suspenseful thriller then this should be your next read!
