This was such a great courtroom drama! The dynamics of this family and what they go through make a fantastic story to read and enjoy.
The book is divided up into three parts, giving the perspective of the three members of the family. Dad, Mom, and daughter. This is done particularly well, in my opinion, as it co tiniest the tale, propelling it forward with each person account of the story without repeating what we already know or getting bogged down in a particular part of the story.
One couldn’t help but question what we would do, put into each family members’ position. Then we get to try and figure out if we think they did the right thing or what their options were.
I think the characters were very realistic and I felt very invested in the outcome of this case.
