This was an excellent crime thriller/suspense. I loved that the author told story three different times through the perspectives of each of the family members. Each character added a new and unique layer to the plot and captured how different people perceive the same events in different ways. This made for a very thought-provoking read. Although the format made the story somewhat repetitive at times, it really engaged my mind and emotions. I flew through it because I was so interested in finding out what happened. I also enjoyed the setting and learning about the legal system in Sweden. Overall, I really loved it, particularly the way it made me question my own sense of ethics and morality. I plan on reading more of this author’s works.
