I liked this book! Is it my favorite thriller of the year? No, but I still enjoyed the journey. The book is told in three parts: first from the dad’s POV (my favorite), then from the POV of the daughter charged with murder, lastly from the mom’s POV. I would not call this a thriller, but more of a courtroom drama. The use of short chapters will always work for me! My assumptions about who did it jumped around a bit, but I did have a pretty good and accurate hunch. Don’t get me wrong though, there are still some unexpected twists. It was also interesting to learn a little about how the justice system in Sweden works.So would I recommend this book? Yep, yep I would!
