From the premise alone, I knew this would be one of those types of reads that makes you ask some questions. As a parent how far would you go to help or protect your child, no matter how old they are.

Stella is an 18 year old girl who lives with her parents, who has been arrested on the charge of murder of a man who is bit older than her. The story is told in three parts which was such an insightful way to tell the story. Each one the parts switches from the past to the present and gives us little details that all seem to play a part throughout the story. I enjoyed seeing the story as a whole through three sets of eyes, each has their own feelings and fears that all comes to together at the end.

This is a slow burn type of read, and it was fun to try and piece all the little pieces together as they were laid out before us. Fans of court room dramas and thriller type reads will definitely enjoy this one, I certainly did.
