The First Look at A Nearly Normal Family by M. T. Edvarsson was very engaging; it left me wanting more. Obviously told from multiple perspectives, but the father narrated in the sample provided, recollecting an incident where his daughter was taken into custody on a murder charge, an incident that changed his family’s and his life forever. In an instant hopes and dreams were shattered, replaced by a new normal. I added the title to my To-Be-Read pile.
