The prologue catches your attention with the fathers clear anguish over a yet-unknown situation. As you read part 1 - the father's narrative, you will be hooked. I was left wanting to know the rest of the story, was part 2 from the mother's point of view, part 3 from the daughter's perspective. Or, is the entire novel based on the father's perspective. Regardless of whose perception is being portrayed, the plot is thickening and leaving the reader with a glimpse of the mystery and intrigue of what is to come.
