What I liked is that, right off with the prologue, the reader is thrown into this gut-wrenching situation where a father is entering the courtroom where his daughter is on trial. We don't know what for, but we do know that the father is already struggling with a deep moral dilemma. And thus, the story begins. The narrator's voice is strong and the story is already providing so many questions to which I want to know the answers. A gripping read that leaves me wanting to read the rest right away.
