Adam and Ulrika seem to have a perfectly cozy life, with a perfectly normal teenager Stella. Stella isn't overly communicative with her parents, but that isn't anything that anyone who has been a teenager or a parent to one would say is unusual. Except for then a murder happens, and Stella is arrested. Did she do it? What do her parents believe? This seems to fit a trend in some of the thrillers I've read recently, with teenagers accused of murder or another heinous crime, and the challenge parents have in believing in their children. It's a little stilted, which may be because it's a translation.
