I don't read a lot of legal dramas, although I certainly enjoy watching them. I was quickly hooked on the familial angle of this one. In one corner you have the father, a pastor, who is bound by spiritual ethics, and in another you have the mother, an attorney, who will (I assume) use the law in whatever way possible to save her daughter. And if we are to assume the daughter's guilt, what was her motivation? I really want to know what is going to happen next with these characters.
