A Multitude of Dreams has been on my TBR for a while now and I am so happy that I finally was able to read it. I have to say this book was like a breath of fresh air. Lately I have been reading books with casts of characters that are so big I forget who they are and how they relate to our main characters and it takes me right out of my flow while reading. That was absolutely not a problem with this book. With a much smaller, more intimate cast of characters, it feels like we really got to know these people and connect with the struggles they were going through, giving us a close knit attachment towards these characters.

Plot-wise, this book had it all: a deadly plague, man-eating monsters, secret identities, friendship, and forbidden romance. Mara Rutherford's writing hooked me in from the first chapter and left me wanting more. I would recommend this book to any fantasy lover looking for a change of pace and a completely unique story! (and a little romance on the side!)
