From that first line of this story my mind was filled with questions. I had grew a need to know everything and so I dived into this castle. "Death truly was the great equalizer." And I agree that it was in this story. A plague spreading all over the place and a few lucky because of their blood. I was fascinated by the events of this story. I liked how we read how the characters were found during the plague, each one being different situations. It was a retelling with a plague and masquerade. I can say that I quite enjoyed the writing, the story kept me engaged. I love the feeling of found family in this book, it really shows resilience. I am glad I had gotten the chance to read this. Everything comes together perfectly after all of the twist. I love the characters that are Seraphina and Nico............
