I'm not the world's biggest fan of YA fantasy, or fantasy in general, particularly of period-style 'historical' fantasy. However, this one seems sufficiently engaging at least in the first couple of chapters. I'm not sure if I'd read the whole thing, but I'd keep reading at least a bit more.
