Anytime a book tells me that it's a retelling or fresh new twist on an old classic, I am willing to give it a shot. Edgar Allan Poe is one that I don't see too often (I think one short story collection regarding Annabelle Lee is what I have seen so far), so I am excited to see how the author puts a fantasy take on this classic.
