I was hooked from the first sentence. I’ve stayed away from books having to do with plagues and pandemics, but this one is the one that’s going to break that streak. So many secrets and lies hidden away in just the first chapter! I want to know more about the Bloody Three, Saraphina’s life before the plague, and all the secrets the king is hiding!
