I have been drawn, for a while now, toward media that has a darker plot. (Bonus points if it has romance). So, this cover caught my eye, because it gave me the sense that this book was going to be just that. The writing showed me this as well since it felt full of a lot of drama, darkness, and lies. Based on the cover, and the writing alike, I peg this novel as one for my tastes!
