Seraphina aka Imogene and Nico are existing in a alternate world built on lies and misconceptions vital to their well-being. While I am not that familiar with Poe's 'The Masque of the Red Death' the story is interesting and I would like to explore Rutherford's take on the tale. The cover wouldn't interest me but ultimately it's what's between the covers!
