OK, so I wasn't thrilled with the first couple of pages because I have read those stories. BUT THE LAST SENTENCE of the preview, "And it was the most beautiful lie of all." I mean c'mon!!!! It sets up the entire story. I want to read more based on that part alone. Add a little flavor of Edgar Allen Poe -- sign me up!
