I enjoyed the First Look of this book. I really enjoyed The Poison Season and the complex characters created by the author. This book is no different; this character promises to have multitudes themself. I enjoyed the fantasy world with the plague; it grapples with issues we have had to deal with but the fiction of it makes it easier to digest than a straight COVID story.
