I loved the author's book The Poison Season, so I had high hopes for this story and Maria did NOT disappoint! The dark twisty YA book takes place during a brutal plague (timely for our society) and involves princesses, kidnapping, and castles!
The cover art is gorgeous and the writing is fast-paced yet nuanced. I can't wait to see how the characters' storylines come together and read more!
