I'm already entranced with this Gothic world. It delivers on the "Poe"-etic atmosphere of dark, decrepit and edgy. I find myself wanting to know more about Seraphina's duplicity and Nico's purpose. Rutherford's writing is perfect capturing the rot of this plague ridden world.
