Seems to be a retelling of Edgar Allen Poe's famous story "The Mask of the Red Death", but with some romance and more conflict woven in. Can't wait to read it, it seems intriguing. I'm also wondering how the raven on the cover relates to the book, could it be a reference to Poe's The Raven?
