I'm very excited to read this retelling of Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death". It didn't take me long to get sucked into the story of A Multitude of Dreams. We get two POVs, one from a pretend princess forced to play in a larger game of pretend at risk of death. Another POV from a noble who lost everything to the plague except his own life and had to learn to adapt to different roles for survival. I'm eager to see where these characters end up.
