The cover is what first caught my eye
First thing I have to say oh my gosh at this cover. The cover is what caught my eye in the first place. Beautiful cover, absolutely stunning. From what I have read so far I would say that you most definitely CAN just a book by its cover where this book is concerned.
Lin makes it so easy to put yourself into this story. It feels like being a part of this story as Ning's actions to leave are gone through. I can feel the uncertainty and the pain that is felt by her as she prepares to leave her ailing sister. I love to read stories where you can tell the relationship between the main character and family members. I like to know what it is like to be part of a family where you care so deeply and can put aside fear to help those you love most. It is something foreign to me, because I did not grow up this way.
I would like to know where I can get myself a courage tea because I feel it would help quite a bit.
