The second I have received this book, I completely devoured it in two sittings. I would say one but unfortunately, I had college work that needed to be done. Anyways, THIS book is definitely going in my top 10 for 2022. I need the second book NOW. I was so captivated by the world-building, I felt like I was a part of this world. I swear I can literally feel, see, taste, and smell everything that was described. Such a strong female lead! Asian representation?!?!? The mythology! It can't get any better than this. There are many fantasy books that have magic, but this book's magic system was so unique it just makes you intrigued. The tea competition was so intense! I usually drink tea, but I haven't been lately and before I started reading it I had brewed myself some tea to get in the mood. After finishing this book, tea is all I drink now. I can't wait for the sequel!
