I absolutely love the beautiful cover art of this book. I know we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but wow, this cover is gorgeous, and it immediately pulled me in to read the blurb and the first look. The first paragraph of the book hooks the reader into reading more. The author writes in a beautiful almost-prose type of storytelling. I really enjoyed this blurb, and it reminded me a little bit of Throne of Glass, in that there is a competition in the court. I love the culture woven into the storytelling of this book too.
