First off, as soon as I read the blurb and saw the cover for this book, I knew I needed it. A book about TEA!? Tea has played such a huge part of my every day, and I couldn't wait to see how Lin could bring that to life in this story.
However, from page one, I knew this to be a book I'd love. Lin has created a sensory masterpiece, bringing in all five senses to create an atmospheric storyworld that just comes alive. It's one of those stories that I can't help but continue reading the next line, the next page, because each word is so full of meaning and so alluring. And the fact that I know there's a tea competition coming up...I honestly couldn't be more excited for this book.
