This book sounds like it would be a tense fantasy read. Knowing that the book is part of a duology will likely make fans want to read it--fantasy series tend to be very popular. I absolutely LOVE the cover art. I'm interested to see the build up to the tea competition and how that impacts the main character's relationship with her sister.
