I love the mix of fantasy and tea. Such a wonderful combination I wouldn’t ever have thought would work so well. So far the amount of cultural topics and nuances in this book make me so excited to read more. Also the mentions of grief and how that can impact a family and someone that is considered to be the “black sheep.” The dynamics brought on early in the books let me know that these characters might end up being very relatable to a large audience. The representation of AAPI is amazing. Can’t wait for the release!
