I was entranced by this First Look! Judy I Linn's writing just sucks you in and leaves you wanting more. I am fascinated by the competition of the shennong-shi. I also want to know more about this poisoned tea and who is actually behind it and of course, how Ning does in the competition and if her sister survives. This is definitely a book I would pick up to read. And the book cover is so beautiful!!
