Magical art of tea-making

The first thing about A Magic Steeped in Poison that caught my attention was the cover. It's quite colorful, with a lot going on, and requires a closer look to see some of the details (e.g., the teacup).

This is the first in a duology by Judy I. Lin. Young adult fantasy isn't a go-to for me, but a magical tea-making competition sounds interesting!
