A Magic Steeped In Poison by Judy Lin had such an interesting concept that I was immediately drawn to it when I read the synopsis. This is my first impression based on the First Look except that we are provided. I thought it was such an interesting concept to have the main character be responsible for the death of her mother and to have this initial plot development based on her potentially killing her sister in a similar way. I liked the initial world building and would like to continue reading this to see how the author continues to develop it. Also, the cover is extremely gorgeous!
