Based on Chinese mythology-- the first thing I noticed about this was the gorgeous cover. I think that this book will do well just for that cover! The beginning had a bit of a predictable start- Ning's sister is sick so she must go on a quest to win a competition and save her sister. Of course, that's where the adventure will happen. It sounds like it could be a lot of fun!
