This book has literally been sitting on my TBR for so long now. The premise and magic system is so well done and creative, and I love that the main character knows some of it but still has more yet to learn (subverting the trope of the main character knowing nothing but being the chosen one). I can't wait to learn more about Ning and I hope she's able to find a space where she's comfortable to open up to people. And that cover is incredible!
