A novel about a young brave woman dealing with betrayal, jealousy, frustration and murder within her family during the legendary time. It is a fascinating story to read about how “Chinese women” in the old dynasties battling and surviving in the machismo society. I am certain the prose is well-written! The cover is gorgeous reminding us how delicate and gorgeous the dynasty look at women but also reminding us how brave and strong women are.
