An exciting peek at a mystical duology

If the first paragraph wasn't enough to hook me, the rest of the the First Look sure was. (But, let's be honest, that first paragraph DID THE TRICK). Lin weaves a deep magical history quickly and deftly and leaves me wanting to learn so much more. I appreciate the "childhood tales" like the Banished Prince she sprinkles in to create a sense of mystery. Looking forward to reading more from Lin and excited this is a duology!
