A murder, a courtroom drama AND a domestic thriller all rolled into one. I devoured this one and loved every page.
For once I had no idea who the killer was - but was pleasantly surprised at how I was kept guessing. So well written I would highly recommend this one for lovers of courtroom dramas, procedural thrillers and domestic thrillers. Filled with fractured relationships galore - and unreliable narratives / it’s a must read!
No spoilers here, but this was one of my favorite reads this year! Five stars from me with a plot that has many layers and kept me turning the pages quickly. There’s something about a thriller that starts with a murder and works its way backward that I find so interesting. Throw in neighborhood gossips and yes even a key party and this is nearly the perfect thriller with something for everyone!
