A Good Marriage is the ultimate whodunnit legal thriller! You will NEVER guess the ending, and if you claim you did, I don’t believe you! It’s that good.

This book was fast-paced and packed with multiple suspects. Our protagonist, Lizzie, is a clever attorney with a tough exterior, but she’s carrying some serious baggage. Although, it’s nothing like what our victim, sweet, beautiful Amanda is carrying. Oh, and the main suspect? That would be Amanda’s husband. Don’t let him fool you. This guy has issues of his own.

The story is told from two perspectives: Lizzie’s present day thoughts and actions as she tries to prove her client’s innocence and Amanda’s narrative in the days leading up to her death.

While I had my issues with some of Lizzie’s actions (or lack of action at times), overall, I really enjoyed this one! A Good Marriage definitely kept me guessing the whole way through. As I looked into the lives of the couples scattered throughout this narrative, it posed another question. What does a good marriage actually look like?

I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and felt that the ending was just, so I happily give A Good Marriage five stars.
