Everything I've ever heard about this book is definitely true. It sounds like it's going to be an amazing mystery/thriller. The author's writing style is very elegant. I'm definitely intrigued by this book. It has been sitting in my amazon wishlist for a while and I definitely want to pick it up after reading the excerpt.
I also love a good mystery. I'm excited to figure out who actually killed killed Zach's wife, Amanda. But I definitely can't rule Zach out as a suspect yet. Seems awfully suspicious that his wife was "murdered" in his house without him seeing the killer. Maybe it's like that Netflix show, "the staircase", and an owl killed her! Who knows but I'm very ready to read the rest of the story.
