This was a solid read in its genre for me. I couldn’t stop turning the pages and it kept me up late to finish and see what the ending held.
There was so much I liked about it: the intricate plot that hinged on each character’s connection to the others, the setting that was so well utilized in the plot, and the great pacing. The writing quality was strong, as well. Lately thrillers have been poorly written with outlandish twists. This one was not like that.
However... there is a LOT going on in this book. And one twist annoyed me and could easily have been left out. I am absolutely done with the mentally unstable female narrator.
Overall, a read I recommend though. I’m a big fan of this author!
