I LOVED this book! The story is incredibly dynamic with an abundance of secrets to unpack. It drew me in immediately and had me sitting on the edge of my seat until the very end. While the author incorporates popular storytelling methods that are sometimes overdone, including multiple POVs and timelines, I found this book to be completely different than anything I’ve ever read. The characters were flawed but still likeable and the plot moved in a direction I wasn’t expecting. I enjoyed the legal aspects of the plot as well as the emotional/relational aspects. Do we ever truly know the ones we love? What secrets hide behind the happy facade of the relationships around us? This book really got under my skin and I’m still on a reading high after finishing it!
