I loved every part of this book. The story was intriguing and the characters were well written and so relatable, especially the way Lizzie handles her husband’s alcoholism. There were so many twists and turns but it worked really well, and I never expected any of them. I also really liked how it went back and forth between Lizzie’s and Amanda’s point of view, it really helped give the story a more well-rounded approach.
Lizzie works so hard to find out the truth about Zach’s arrest, especially because they’re old friends from law school. But once secrets slowly start coming to light, people aren’t who they seem to be, and soon everyone is a suspect. Kimberly McCreight did a fantastic job with this book and I can’t wait to read other works from her.
