I read this book in June of 2022 and omg it sucked me in. I got it as a book of the month pick and I waited a couple months to read it and I kicked myself for waiting so long once I finally read it. It’s a thriller in the best kind of way. The storyline takes you through a series of twist and turns that you don’t see coming until they are happening on the page. The plot twist at the end had me gasping and rethinking the whole book. The authors writing is excellent and you get a real feel for that’s actually happening. She’s great at showing instead of telling and I love that in a thriller. I like to be immersed in the twists and turns of a story and this one did just that. This is the kind of book that true crime junkies could eat up as well as lovers of thrillers and those who like a good who dun it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I would be interested in reading more from this author.
