This one was a let down for me. I was initially excited to read it due to it being compared to Big Little Lies. BLL was one of my favorite reads so I was excited to jump into this one! However, the only similarity between this and BLL is that it involves a group of parents at a school.
I found the book to be very slow and while a lot of people said that it picks up about midway through, there was never a pick up moment for me. I thought that the plot was fairly predictable and I was able to guess who the murderer was from the beginning. I also was able to guess one of the biggest plot twists of the book as well. The plot felt stale and recycled. Also, there were several loose ends that were never tied up.
