I don't have to see much more of a book than Kimberly McCreight's name on it to know it'll be a new favorite. Her previous novels, Reconstructing Amelia and Where They Found Her, were both such thrilling, gripping stories that McCreight has become one of my favorite authors.
In A Good Marriage, themes of love, marriage, identity, and masks are familiar, but McCreight's characters are original and all their own. Lizzie and Zach aren't the typical thriller characters, and the plot goes far beyond what you normally expect for a thriller.
I highly recommend A Good Marriage to anyone who enjoys thrillers, criminal procedurals, and fiction in general. You won't get much better than Kimberly McCreight!
