Did anyone in this book have a good marriage! I don’t think so! Too many secrets, lies, envy and bad choices made all these relationships unstable. Throw in a murder of a beautiful wife/mother and the past of these couples come into question. Lizzie receives a call from a past friend who is now an inmate at Rikers. He begs her to defend him. He is accused of killing his wife. Lizzie takes on the case. What she uncovers makes her question her own marriage and her past. Honestly this book was a tad too slow for me with annoying characters. What I did like was that the story was told through emails, testimonials, and narratives. I read Reconstructing Amelia by this author and really liked. A Good Marriage is just a so-so read for me. My opinion.
