Goodreads describes this as a mystery thriller but I think it should also be classified as a legal thriller because there is a good bit of legal information here (which I enjoyed!!). I found it super interesting learning how some different things work without being the main focus and over complicating things too much. The story is told from Lizzie trying to figure things out after the fact, Amanda before her death, and snipits of the trial. The story was good and kept me guessing till the end, just when you think you have it figured out you’re thrown another curve ball! I have it 4 stars cause I found the beginning a little slow, overall enjoyed! I would definitely read more by this author especially if they have the legal aspect like this one had!
